This week I am looking at bedding design and want to share with you the most beautiful ranges in the world! Kas Australia were founded in 1976 and are based in the home fashion & design precinct of Sydney. I'm a huge fan or their contemporary style and mouthwatering colour combinations. Ranges typically include bedding, cushions, throws & footstools. They have various stockists in the UK such as Fenwicks & Heal and you can view their current ranges at http://www.kas-linens.co.uk

Talented Tueday!
This week I have to share with you the work of Abigail Brown and her beautiful birds! Abigail studied surface decoration & printed textiles and worked in the world of children's books and childrenswear before setting up on her own in London. Her pieces are all handmade and of course no two are the same. After spending lots of time with her grandmother who was a seamstress. Abigail has always been inspired to re-use scraps of cloth and create something new & enchanting! Her work can now be seen in top-end department stores such as Liberty and independent boutiques. You can see the rest of her collection at http://www.abigail-brown.co.uk

BIG Chair Project!
I have to tell you about this amazing project which has been set up to raise money for Jamie Oliver's Better Food foundation. A host of iconic designers/artists including Mathew Williamson, Sarah Burton (Alexander Mcqueen), Tracey Emin, Paul Smith & Cath Kidston are among those who have been asked to design a chair to raise money for a great cause. These stunning works of art will be auctioned and sold in October, here are a few of my favourites;

You may have noticed that there seems to have been an explosion of patterned wellies that have hit the shops recently! There are some gorgeous prints around with the clothing company 'Joules' leading the way with pretty florals & country themes. Here are a few of my favourites from the high street;

Designer of the month: Ptolemy Mann
I am a huge fan of this very talented designer's work as her use of colour is stunning. She works with interior designers and architects on commissions and offers an architectural colour consultancy, I am not surprised! She works also with the healthcare industry to offer advice on psychological wellbeing in relation to colour application. She has applied her gorgeous weaves to an increasing range of products including wall art, furniture, rugs & accessories. See more at http://www.ptolemymann.com

I'm absolutely loving this new collaboration between one of my favourite wallpaper & fabric houses 'Harlequin' and the renowned fashion designer 'Orla Keily'. They have launched a luscious wallpaper book which features Orla's signature prints scaled up for maximum impact. See more at Harlequin
